German carrier pigeon exhibition on December 16th and 17th, 2023…

On December 16th and 17th, 2023, the Ruhr metropolis of Dortmund will be in the spotlight of German and international racing pigeon breeders. The Dortmund trade fair is opening its doors on these days for the German Carrier Pigeon Exhibition (DBA).

The Association of German Carrier Pigeon Breeders e.V. is pleased to be able to hold the traditional German Carrier Pigeon Exhibition (DBA) in Dortmund again on December 16th and 17th, 2023. The carrier pigeon association invites carrier pigeon fans from all over the world to Hall 2 and 3 at the Dortmund Trade Fair.

The carrier pigeon exhibition presents the fastest and most beautiful Carrier pigeons from Germany. Here pigeon enthusiasts can inform about current innovations in carrier pigeons and a Experience part of the fascination of the carrier pigeon live. The DBA is a popular one Meeting point of the worldwide carrier pigeon scene and is also a place for veterinary debates.

Well-known exhibitors will present their products and pigeons in Halls 2 and 3. This involves special transport vehicles, feeding, building dovecotes, electronic timing in races and much more.

The trade fair offers products from the carrier pigeon industry deep insights into history, information stands on international Pigeon races (“One-Loft-Races”) as well as an extensive program for the young breeder.

The Association of Germans expects around 10,000 visitors from all over the world Carrier pigeon fanciers to the world's largest carrier pigeon exhibition.

Of course, the carrier pigeons are the focus at the DBA. In total, around 1,000 racing pigeons can be viewed at the world's largest racing pigeon exhibition. The “Super Stars of the DBA” can be seen in a special exhibition. Top international and German racing pigeons can be purchased at the largest public pigeon auction in Europe. Super pigeons can also be won in a large raffle for little money. The proceeds go to Prof. Dr. Kohaus support association, which supports racing pigeon breeding in Germany with aid campaigns and research projects. In addition, other top pigeons from successful racing pigeon breeders can be purchased in the international pigeon village, a specially designed sales area, and you can talk shop with the pigeon breeders.

DBA opening times: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day ticket costs 12 euros, the season ticket 17 euros. Women and disabled people get their tickets free.
