The remote TIPES tee – Successful usage in the RV North Eifel…

In spring 2015 the TIPES remote Tee has been approved by the German letter pigeon breeders E.v. of Association of. The remote discount saves you the trip to the watch duty in the local area breeders because the timing data is transferred from home via the PC at the TIPES server and the authorized representative for the flight data. The remote TIPES tee is especially in regions use, where breeders have to travel longer distances to the job site.

Petra Lucaßen, is here clearly eased the TIPES remote tee can finally be deployed prior to her travel blow in Zülpich Disternich.

Successful usage in the RV North Eifel
The SG Lucaßen from Zülpich Disternich set in the remote TIPES tee to the first official flight of the price on May 2nd, 2015, for the first time. Reason for the acquisition of this system was that Petra and her husband Manfred Lucaßen are both employed and partly at the weekend must work, also, because the usage is about 20 km away.
Who let the pigeons due to weather conditions only around 11: 40 clock 2015 took place on May 2 in Metz (170 km). For the SG Lucaßen, the flight went pretty well, they stated their first Dove at 13:52. Nine pigeons were covered until 13:59. Result in the aviation community: 18/9 awards. Immediately after the end of the bankruptcy, the control unit MC1100 was connected to the home PC. Within a few minutes the race data were transferred and thus the first weekend of the flight was finished. There was plenty of time to take care of the time, or to other activities this weekend.

What are the prerequisites for the grower?
The remote TIPES discount is possible only with models MC1100 and MC2100 with version 2.0. The local PC can be used from Windows 7 with a serial interface (USB, serial adapter). The PC must have Internet access and an E-Mail address must exist. A unique amount of 150 euro per unit is due for conversion on the remote TIPES tee, is but also the necessary connectors and power supply and software contain. After the end of the first price flight from Metz, wife Lucaßen showed us how fast the race data by means of the local PC within minutes were transferred.

What are the prerequisites for the usage authority?

Here, a current management software (new default of the W file) must exist. The 32-bit version is obligatory TIPES WinElTaV. An Internet connection is required for an automatic data transfer. This is not available, also a manual transfer is possible. This depends on the management software.
Pigeon talked to after the RegV Chairman Egon Krupp on the successful first use of the remote TIPES tee. Sport friend Egon Krupp is Chairman of the RV North Eifel since 1992 and is since October 2014 also RegV Chairman in the RegV 406 Southwest Eifel. 511 members with approximately 217 traveler hits include the RegV. The RegV has a North-South length of 80 km, an East West extent of 97 km (see map).

What advantages do you see in the remote TIPES tee? Is this connected with a temporal overhead for the place or the usage site manager?

"In the remote TIPES tee I see due to the wide approach channels as for example in our area large regional association for this breeder enormous benefits." The so-called watch payments is eliminated completely, so that accounts for traveling distances of 50 to 100 km per flight weekend for these sports. For the RV Clearing House this is no overhead, on the contrary, with delivery of data read from a file with the printout of race data is sent via email including discount (to print out as evidence), as well as the W files. These W files are transferred then just in the price lists-transfer program."

Is the athletic camaraderie on the route through the remote TIPES tee, if breeders see no longer on the flight when the clock is placed?

"Of course, you can make believe, stop that, if this system more and more in the future, the athletic camaraderie on the track remains, but I think everywhere plummeting numbers of breeders and to the locations that progress will be the directions so that in the future more and more expectant."
