Both are known for their mischievous comments, but also for their relaxed way to deal with things. You will appreciate the 'good life' as well as 'good work'... No hassle no wage. With its small population, they have already challenged the big players and in many cases, the victory was theirs. Albert in the season 2015 18 females entered with, classical widower, after a few weeks, only 10 of them were left ("if they do, they fly out immediately."). He exercises strict selection, depends highly on the crossbar and invested time and effort are only those who worth it. This shows his professionalism, he is one who knows what he wants. Apart from the space problem, he is a master in breeding and travel.

Albert started with the pigeon sport, when he was 14. In the early years, he had to learn a lot. When he moved with Francine in the Wijgmaalsesteenweg 258, mid-70s, he met also his tutor Thomas to Paris. A true champion and a true pigeon fanciers. Albert wanted to buy a couple of his pigeons, but Thomas wanted to see first what kind of pigeons Albert had already at home. The selection was strict, only 1 out of its 35 pigeons was allowed to remain and 6 new pigeons moved into the beat. That was just the beginning, because 3 months later Thomas Paris came back and again took 3 of his own pigeons. Albert followed his advice and support, he got 3 pairs to breed 2 eggs boy. Over the years, he learned a lot about the selection of the best pigeons from his tutor. It was a wonderful friendship and even today, years later, you can see that this little blow was the basis for annual top achievements. But especially the pigeons by Paul Huls have shaped the stock – to this day.

Albert looks, observed and knows what before the start of the season, and how he will travel. Good care

However, there are accessories for the drinking water, which will be updated several times a day. Albert uses as base products Avidress plus and UsneGano one that keeps the pigeons healthy, especially at the beginning, and after the season. During the season, he is rather Avipharm (Amino acids electrolytes) and MUMM (Carbohydrates), this combination ensures a good night's rest, what you also realize the deaf. Apart from that he is one who goes to play it safe. The pigeons are vaccinated each spring against Paramixo, paratyphoid, and trichomoniasis. You will also receive a treatment against diseases of the head. After that, he goes with them to the vet for a thorough investigation. When the pigeons are prior to the season in good form, it has already won much.

In the diet, he prefers digestible mixtures, that's why he takes the Vandenabeele mixture of Beyers like. Only in the last two rounds of feeding the pigeons, "Brilliant", a high-fat mixture get. When Albert enters the shot, the pigeons get some food, but also a few seeds: cannabis seeds and shelled sunflower seeds. During the season they get for 2 days. A good preparation

As already said: you should leave nothing to chance. At the beginning of the season, Albert spent much time in the training of the deaf. The old birds and yearlings to train 5 to 6 times on 20 km. The youngsters are trained even 20 times to 30 km between the flights. He is trying to do this as early as possible. Training is once per day in the morning. The females are fed even before departure (Albert has the impression that it is then longer train).

During the moulting period they often get Pigeon gold (Methionine ensures good Mauser), what if you look at the pigeons. You have also the possibility to swim. Every Sunday (the day after the return of the flight) they get a Luke warm bath to relax and calm. Even on the day of the Basketing them can swim. The pigeons get these products every day, sometimes twice. Some pigeons are so crazy then they like it better than its food. Their feathers are so nice and soft and they digest their food better.
