Since his retirement 10 years ago, Hubert Borker completely witmet his pigeons. Hubert was in his professional life machine operator in a steel mill, has six grown children and now enjoys his pigeon racing.

From lovers to "Grand Master"
Was Hubert Borker formerly a breeder with "normal" successes so everything changed so that, when he met more than 30 Günter Prange years ago from Meppen.
It evolved over time a friendship, which still exists today and is marked by a great deal of trust and cooperation. In 1995 the first pigeons from Meppen changed to Lingen. "Blue Star" was 1st National AS Dove May 2006 and is now one of the best Zuchtauben at Hubert Borker.
Günter Prange steht jedoch nicht nur als Lieferant von exzellentem Taubenmaterial zur Verfügung sondern hat darüber hinaus auch einen grossen Anteil am Bau des jetzigen Taubenschlages. Bei seinen ersten Besuchen bei Günter Prange war Hubert immer etwas neidisch auf die ausgefeilte Schlaganlage in Meppen. Hubert wohnte da in einem durchaus schmucken Eigenheim, schräg gegenüber von seinem heutigen Wohnhaus. In 2007 kaufte Hubert dann auf der anderen Strassenseite ein Geschäftshaus mit grossem Grundstück und errichtete nicht nur ein schmuckes Wohnhaus sondern auch nach Detailvorgaben von Günter Prange die imposante Schlaganlage.

Über die Leistungen von Günter Prange zu berichten ist mehr als müssig. Und doch ist Günter Prange gerade aktuell im Reisejahr 2017 wieder ein absoluter Coup gelungen. Er wird „1. Gouden Duif Gewinner Deutschland 2017“. Die Leistungen auf dem eigenen Schlag von Günter Prange sind nicht nur in Deutschland einmalig. Vor allem die Vererbungsstärke der Prange-Tauben ist heute weltweit anerkannt. Keine deutschen Tauben sind in Asien heute so gefragt wie Tauben von Günter Prange. Die vielen AS-Tauben bis hin zu nationalen Titeln sind hinreichend bekannt. Aber vor allem auch die 1. Preise gegen sehr hohe Taubenzahlen sind ein Novum. So finden wir alleine bei drei Ruhrgebietssiegern, den grössten sportlichen Wettbewerben Deutschlands, der letzten Jahre Prange Nachzuchttauben. So gewinnt der 420 von Helmut Lettmann aus Recklinghausen den 1. Preis gegen 34.878 Tauben ab Osterhofen 520 km. Beide Eltern sind Prange-Nachzuchten. Die Gebr. Menke aus Menden gewannen mit dem 1020 mit Prange-Blut in seinen Adern den Flug ab Hemau gegen 24.000 Tauben und aktuell in 2016 gewinnt Heinz Keil mit seinem Nummer 6 den 1. Preis ab Hemau gegen 13.000. Tauben. In allen Abstammung finden wir den Prange-Zuchtvogel Nr. 1, den „Ringlosen“.
The Super Bird "Blue Chicco" was in 2013 the first AS-pigeon in the regional association. "Blue Cicco" was Miterringer the "Gouden Duif" 2012. He is a grandson of the "Ring Lose".

A highlight was winning the 1. Regional Championship for young pigeons in 2015, while the 10th place nationally.
