On Saturday, 07 October 2017 416 Derby pigeons started to the final flight of Mallorca Derby 2017. At 11:00 pm, the pigeons were released. A distance of 250 km, including 200 km across the open sea lay before the pigeons. It should be a challenging task for the pigeons, because all the way prevailed lateral headwinds. It took nearly four hours for the first pigeons impact investment reached and make up the victory among themselves. The first and second place went this year to Dutch growers.
