A total of 39,344 pigeons (20,796 old birds and 18,548 yearlings) were basketed for BOURGES I, the first national race in Belgium.
Weather conditions during the release: clouds at times, north-easterly wind, good visibility.

Jacques & Freddy Vandenheede (Zingem) became two-time national winners in the category “yearlings” and "Old Pigeons". A fantastic performance!!
