The breeding season

The breeding season is an important time in pigeon racing. The new Pigeon generation must see the light of day. But not only that, the Youngsters must not have any supply bottlenecks during this time. deficits in At this age they usually take their revenge later in life. So it is very important that we provide the offspring with all the important nutrients, vitamins, Trace elements and minerals supply the frail body needed.

The big brand feed manufacturers will do everything do to produce optimal food for this period. Unfortunately there has been since for some time worldwide a trend that GMO (genetically modified seeds) gains the upper hand. For example, in North America there is hardly any soy or Flour that is non-GMO. These seeds have been modified to resist high Concentrations of pesticides such as glyphosate (Roundup) are resistant.

We have a number of feed on the presence have glyphosate in their feed tested. There was a sizeable one Difference between the feeds with the highest and the lowest Concentration. The food with the highest concentration of glyphosate contained 65 times more of this pesticide than the food with the lowest Concentration. It should be noted that the amount of glyphosate in the Top brands was almost negligible. That was pretty reassuring.

Because glyphosate is able to reduce the number of cross-connections between brain cells by a factor of 1000. The more cross-connections there are between the brain cells, the faster a pigeon can switch later. A pigeon should not only have a well-built body, but also have something on its mind in order to get home as quickly as possible. So there are several problems that can arise if the feed is not optimal.

On the other hand, the number of cross connections between the brain cells can also increase by a factor of 1,000 if the young pigeons can absorb sufficient EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) fatty acids during rearing. With proper rearing, these fatty acids should therefore be present in large quantities in the feed.

But not only after the hatching of the youngsters must the conditions be optimal. The conditions for the development of the young must also be optimal in the egg. If there are relative bottlenecks in the nursery, i.e. the egg, the young cannot develop optimally. So there must also be enough EPA and DHA in the egg. It is therefore no superfluous luxury to ensure that the feed is supplemented with a rearing oil in the week before the eggs are laid, which ensures that this requirement is optimally met.

During the breeding season, the dose of these fatty acids can increase Needs to be reduced to ensure that the diet of the parent animals is optimally cared for again a few days before hatching.

If you feed an optimal feed, you won't become like that easily become deficient. It's that simple. But practice shows that it is a blessing for the growing offspring when the parent animals actually everything can be found in the feed what the offspring during the Rearing needs to grow optimally.

To achieve this goal, we have for our breeding pigeons developed a breeding support that ensures that nothing is left to chance. The combination of Bony Omega 3 breeding oil with Bony Breeding support ensures that the youngsters are very good and vital grow up. Nothing is left to chance.

In order to achieve an optimal effect of both products, the rearing support with the rearing oil in the last week before Oviposition given over the food. Initially we have this combination about used three times a week. But it turned out that half the combination dose administered daily has an even better effect.

With the eggs, you can temporarily stop giving both products and start again a few days before hatching until the next egg laying. The result is very beautiful youngsters that can eventually be sold.

Much luck !
